BENSON design team reviewing a three-dimensional retail display concept
01 · DESIGN & R&D

Design starts with merchandise and operations.

Our design team turns the commercial brief into a retail system that can be understood, priced, engineered and built—not only a visual impression.

  • Customer journey, zoning and circulation planning
  • 2D fixture layouts and 3D concept development
  • Product-size, display-capacity and replenishment studies
  • Fixture-family and modular-system development
  • Brand graphics, finishes and lighting direction
  • Cost optimization based on manufacturing logic

02 · ENGINEERING

Make every attractive idea buildable and repeatable.

Engineering converts the approved concept into measurable production information and resolves the risks that otherwise appear during manufacturing or installation.

Structure
Frames, spans, loads, stability, joining and anchoring strategy.
Function
Doors, drawers, locks, adjustable shelves, service access and replenishment.
Integration
Glass, acrylic, lighting, drivers, cables, graphics and replaceable parts.
Release control
Shop drawings, BOM, revisions, tolerances and approved samples.
03 · MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS

04 · MATERIAL & FINISH ENGINEERING

Specify materials by performance, not appearance alone.

Every material decision is reviewed against product visibility, structural load, customer access, destination climate, local requirements, cleaning, maintenance and transport.

SystemBENSON optionsDecision criteria
GlassLow-iron tempered; 5+5 mm or 6+6 mm laminated optionsVisibility, safety, edge finish, security level and local compliance

GraphicsPrinted panels, acrylic, vinyl, illuminated signs and headersCampaign change frequency, color reference, cleaning and installation method
05 · QUALITY CONTROL

Quality is controlled before, during and after production.

A final visual check is not enough for an international fixture project. BENSON connects each inspection to approved drawings, samples and functional requirements.

BENSON quality inspection and fixture verification floor
  1. 01

    Incoming quality control

Wood moisture, metal thickness and alloy, glass surface condition, hardware and electrical component verification.

  2. 02

    First-piece approval

The first unit of each batch is fully assembled and signed off before mass production continues.

  3. 03

    In-process control

Dimensional checks, structure, hole positions, joints, welds and finish preparation are inspected while correction remains efficient.

  4. 04

    Functional verification

Doors, drawers, locks, adjustable parts and lighting are operated; illuminated fixtures receive a 24-hour aging test.

  5. 05

    Final & packing release

Finish, quantity, labels, accessories, protection and documentation are checked before shipment release.

CAPACITY + CONTROL

Built for custom flagships and repeatable rollout programs.

4

Dedicated loading bays

Hydraulic loading areas connect coded export packages with container and destination plans.

30+

Engineering, QC & project support

Specialist support connects technical decisions, production milestones and buyer communication.

2+

Sources for critical materials

Hardware, LED and glass categories use qualified dual-source planning to reduce shortage risk.

98%+

Timeline tracking accuracy

ERP and manufacturing execution records connect material entry, production progress and finished-goods shipment.

06 · PACKING, DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Designed to cross oceans and arrive ready for the site.

Packaging and installation logic are engineered before production finishes. BENSON plans disassembly, glass protection, hardware kits, package dimensions, loading order and destination handling as part of the fixture system.

  1. 1Protect visible surfaces with film.
  2. 2Cushion edges and components with 20 mm EPE foam.
  3. 3Reinforce corners and impact zones.
  4. 4Use 15–18 mm export-grade plywood crates where required.

BUYER QUESTIONS

What procurement teams ask before factory selection.

01Are you a manufacturer or a trading company?+

BENSON is a direct retail-fixture manufacturer with a self-owned 20,000 m² integrated production campus in China. Design, engineering, key fabrication, assembly, quality control and packing operate within one managed system.

02Can BENSON support both a one-off flagship and a multi-store rollout?+

Yes. The flexible production system supports custom boutique projects and repeatable rollout programs. Monthly capacity is 1,500–2,000 display units depending on complexity, with parallel production planning available for large programs.

03What must be approved before production?+

Production follows an approved baseline: current drawings, material and finish schedule, hardware and lighting specification, quantity, sample decisions, packing method and documented deviations. A mood image alone is not a production release.

04What quality checks are performed?+

Checks cover incoming materials, first-piece approval, in-process dimensions and construction, visible finish, doors, drawers, locks, lighting, trial assembly, quantity, labels and export packing. Every cabinet is trial assembled before packing.

05Can you provide material samples or a prototype?+

Yes. Material boards, finish samples, lighting tests, first articles and full prototypes can be planned according to project risk, rollout quantity and the buyer's approval process.

06How are fixtures protected for international shipping?+

BENSON uses project-specific export packing built around four layers of protection: surface film, EPE foam, reinforced corner protection and export-grade plywood crates where required. Packages are coded for unloading and installation.

07Can BENSON help with installation?+

Support can include trial assembly, coded components, hardware kits, assembly drawings, videos, remote guidance and agreed on-site coordination. The contract defines the responsibilities of BENSON, the buyer and the local contractor.

08What information is needed for a capability and quotation review?+

Send the store country and city, floor plan or dimensions, product categories and sizes, required fixture types and quantities, brand references, target opening date and delivery destination.
